ODOPB, as a new environmentally friendly halogen-free flame retardant, is organic phosphorus heterocyclic compound. It has high thermal stability, oxidation resistance and excellent water resistance. It is reactive and additive flame retardant and mainly used in high-grade epoxy resin (such as circuit boards) additive flame retardant. It can replace brominated flame retardant agent (tetrabromobisphenol-A) and be used for semiconductor packaging materials, printed circuit boards and LED light tubes. ODOPB is used for the products meeting the ROHS requirements and as intermediates for the synthesis of reactive flame retardants. As ODOPB has P-C bond, it’s flame retardant property is better thancommon phosphate’s.
